The passion of sailing and racing for all who want to see the world from the sea and get the pleasure of “Being First with Sail First”
Everybody knows that sailing can change a child’s life. It teaches kids life skills such as resilience, independence, decision-making, self-reliance, and discipline. It also teaches the value of fair play, respect, teamwork, integrity, inclusiveness, and caring for the environment.
The best way to learn how to sail is by practice. For younger children, age 8-14, an Optimist is the perfect boat. This lightweight boat with one sail responds directly to the wind and rudder. Therefore, young sailors will almost automatically discover the basics of sailing. The younger you start sailing, the more easily you become familiar with the water.
The Optimist is, quite simply, the dinghy in which the young people of the world learn to sail.
Easily transported on top of any car, safe and simple enough for an 8-year-old, exciting and technical enough for a 15-year-old.
Sailed in over 110 countries by over 150,000 young people, it is the only dinghy approved by the International Sailing Federation exclusively for sailors under 16 years of age.
Over half of the dinghy skippers at the last Olympic Games were former Optimist sailors.
A professional skipper and a group of maximum “X” students will sail aboard a J/80 sailboat.
The course lasts of 10 sailing lessons.
All our sailing courses prioritize practice.
The theory is taught directly on board with the help of the didactic material that the students will receive before the course.
As the American statesman Daniel Webster said, “People join forces to do what they cannot do alone.” The same can be said about corporate yachting. This format helps to create a strong business team and a state of mind in the team, such important qualities as trust, diligence, responsibility and the desire to win. A corporate event in non-standard conditions can unite colleagues much faster and more efficiently than years of work. After all, the choice of positive emotions that any participant in sea adventures get is much stronger than gatherings in a restaurant or going to another summer picnic.
Team building example:
Classic race. You rent two or more yachts, we organize a race for you. As part of such an event, each member of your company can learn the basics of yachting, try himself as a crew member and get unforgettable experience.
All sailing involves teamwork and is thus an ideal way of team-building for other purposes. So why not invite your colleagues, business partners and customers to spend a few days under sail with you – days full of adrenaline and positive satisfying physical exercise followed by well-earned relaxation and great memories?
A regatta is an unforgettable experience for all participants and their joint sea venture links them in an unbreakable bond. And it is this exercise in team-building which can ultimately lead to more efficient collaboration and friendly, profitable company relations.
So go ahead. Organize your own regatta and our SailFirst company will help you every step of the way in its preparation and conduct. Plenty of fun and the heightened friendly feelings it generates will reward you with a great advertisement for your company, its products and its services.
